@Kyto1984 Kaido was worrying if her spirit could take the possibility of her not being able to heal and save everyone. It's the burden of a low grade healer. They can't save everyone and they can't heal as much as a higher grade one. He was worried that she would just break down or push herself to her limit and pass out or something like that.

I know it's the genre but it stills weird to have Kaido's contribution almost completely overlooked....I was hoping for a more mutual appreciates towards each other.

@boogle Eh, since she literally pulled him back from death's door, he should have more confidence in her ability.

@cor3zone I think he was worried that she hasn't realized her potential yet. Remember for 2 years she was beaten down in the Hero's party.

she is likely given B-rank in volume 2, and is likely the minimum for where she should have been from the start. volume 3-1 describes her a B-Rank, and 2-1 seems to indicate she has not ranked up yet.

@cor3zone : and she is limited by medicine on hand, her medicine works miracles, but she only has so much. He does not know how many people need treatment, and if she has enough medicine for everyone.

@sjmcc13 One of her pills was enough to heal him a lot. If she diluted what she had, regardless of how little that was, she would at least be able to stabilize anyone in mortal danger. Besides, telling someone in a healing profession not to heal people is like telling them they are useless. Imagine if she told him not to fight, because people might gain hope of victory.

@cor3zone : you are arguing from perfect info, which he did not have. He does not necessarily know how well they work diluted, and is likely working primarily based on her damaged ego.

@sjmcc13 Nah, disregarding the fact that it did work, I still think he was an asshole. At the very least, she would be able to save one person. She might have felt bad in the moment, about not being able to save everyone. But in the long term, saving anyone at all would be a boost to her confidence, and start the healing process for her "damaged ego". She literally already thinks she's useless, and he straight up tells her she shouldn't even try. Cementing her as 'useless'.

And then, what he did. Good lord. I was shouting for Kaido to come back. To beat Gran black and blue to show him who the real hero is.

@R3nAknyght I see 2 possibilities and they have everything to do with how much of a hurry the "Hero" party was in to leave town.

1) She quickly gathered what she could take, locked/boarded up the place and abandoned it.
2) She liquidated everything she couldn't bring. Store stock, equipment, furniture, the store itself, personal belongings, ect. She didn't have money in the end, so she would have spent it all on herself for the travel or on the party.

At least 1 has the possibility of being untouched just waiting for her to return. But depending on the security it could have been looted.

Edit: now that I think about it 1b) would be that she entrusted it to someone from the village to look after it.

The "hero" was back to put her under his thrall again. It seems she had no immunity to it. The next chapter will be out on Aug. 27. I hope the new guy would be able to rescue her before long.

Also i guessing the "hero" and kaido will know each other, in addition wondering if kaido might end up being the real hero considering the hints he's a or s rank.

No not really a charm magic, but hot guy magic. It give the target a debuff stat called "bith just got hooked" It's only works if the target never see a hot guy, second time not really that effective(different for every target). It can makes the target blinded, they can't see a bad personality or bad intentions.
No matter how bad they're treated, the effect will always be there until a certain condition meet. Each target have different conditions to break the spell. LoL.

Sometimes the effects still roaming in their head even if the magic already broken. If the target are emotionally weak, the target can be enslaved.
-Can only effect NPC and Players.
-Backfired effect, give the caster bad karma and reduced the caster luck stat. If target treated badly.
-Success rate percentage highly calculated on caster appearance, and target preference.
*Passive spell.

Ps: Lmao. Did i just implement a new effect/spell/skill for an mmorpg game??
