APKs are literally just another wrapper around an EXE and auxilary files that acts like a RAR or ZIP file, otherwise. You can literally open up an APK with something like 7ZIP and extract all the files to PC and run them like you would any other executable.

It's to reflect some realism in the fiction. After all, aren't the real world is practically flooded by misandrists at the top level? Much like how the top is also flooded with misogynists.

It's a natural order kinda thing. Since you have to have some kind of huge defect in your brain to be at the top of something. Maybe. Who knows. The probability is insane. Much like how most politicians are all corrupt. Why do people that stand at the top always be shitty people?
