Unique art and designs with a deceptively superficial premise. Always wondered about the similarities with Trigun.
A classic.

@TheDefend: there's an officially licensed translation of the first two volumes so they were not released by this group.

Ugh... I had forgotten how bad some of the translation is. Seriously, folks, you should NOT be leaving really trivial words like "hai" ("yes") and "iie" ("no") in Japanese, and cut out "desu" entirely... and for crying out loud, if you're already going to use "mercenary" for "boukensha" in some places, then use it everywhere and cut the Japanese word out completely, that's your job as a translator. If I wasn't so lazy I'd re-edit these to be completely translated.

Am I really the only one that didn't enjoy reading this? The timelines are such a mess.

It's a fun little series of stories, but some of the translation is so bad as to drag the entire thing down. It's hard to recommend reading it with that in mind.

The story is really fun to read, but until someone replaces the translations by shanelone7 I'm gonna have to put this on hold. It's just too cringey.

I LOVE EAT-MAN, but holy shit. Whoever scanned this needs to be brought out back and whipped. This is a disgrace to every fan group out there.

The scanlations are a bit weird, it feels awkard to read Onegai..sokka... etc in betwen dialogues. Kinda had a 'Chunni..' feel 😅. Because I see so many subbed animes, I could somehow manage, but would be difficult for non-subbers.

Other than that, the story is very interesting. The initial short stories are great, the underlying arcs have a grand world building design to it. But sometimes it feels hard to point out the theme/genre, it's kinda supposed to be Futuristic post-apocalyptic times, but then theres dragons and some supernatural stuff too. Not much info given as to how they all connect into the whole arc etc.
But all things considered, is a great read.
