I think it's how far she can go back. Information obtained from 5mins ago won't affect the future that much but information obtained a few hours ago can causing her to jump or more specifically, the point of change take on a different route. To balance this powerful ability, the world requires something in exchange. Like an exchange for the defeat of Draken is worth something like turning Ziggy evil and awakening him from his slumber.

All I'm saying is that the higher the impact of change she wants to create to the world, the bigger the negative effects the world has create to balance it out.

Jumping backwards through her own timeline shouldn't cause enormous changes. Also easier than jumping to a new universal constant.

I'm curious to see what the rules of time travel are in this series, as obviously there needs to be some sort of reason why the heroes can't just do it all the time. Thanks a ton for translating, I'm really enjoying this manga so far!

Since Becky and the previous Villain say different numbers depending on when Becky uses her Gear i'm guessing she's Traveling into different Universes OR Creating a new timeline.

OR even the number just means how many times it has repeated but that doesn't sound as cool

Well, gear yourself for your revenge quest cause it was already confirmed that she switch universe and bad things that happened still happened.
Look like this is an exception. Maybe small time rewind don't require an alternate timeline.
Also i wonder if it can happen that she can jump on an even worst situation she escaped from.

@Goldenevil5 To the best of our knowledge so far, the amount of world lines has been told by others to her. So that is really based on how many times they actual notice it happening.

Noah prob knows exactly how many times since it's implied he watches Becky.
