This last one is very much on point. If that's all it takes to take down such a "dangerous" monster, the full team should have had no trouble.
- (criticism) The power scaling is absolute trash. A mere level 5, a SING DIGIT LEVEL, is able to ONE-SHOT a monster, a HIGH-CLASS monster, with a mere LEVEL-1 ELEMENT attack. And there is literally no excuse for MC to be able to one shot that monster with the weakest of the weakest magic and it being the second time he's ever used magic, also the first time ever using that element too.
I love it when villains have nuance but can still be called the bad guys.Nothing too surprising so far... but seems like a decent start.
- Abandon party member in a dungeon, check. (At least here, it's not "just because party is evil".)
- MC does adventuring despite being objectively less capable than most, check. (Had no magic... though he looks decent with a sword.)
- Childhood friend abandons MC... funny enough, opposite check. (Childhood friend is actually a friend for once. Nice.)
- MC was actually a late bloomer and is actually OP, check.
At least, the former party was not just evil for the sake of being evil.
never mind i just finished ch 1 and i cannot stomach this. Inshallah those who brought this bullshit upon my eyes shall burn 🙏🏾HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!! THE MAIN CHARACTER AWAKENED MAGIC!!!!!!! AFTER HE WAS ABANDONED FOR BEING 𝓾𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼 AND BETRAYED BY HIS PARTY!!! AND HE’S ACTUALLY A ONE IN A MEGAQUADRILLION TALENT!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!! IM POGGING OUT OF MY MIND!!!!!! HOLY SHIT
i’m still gonna read this tho
Good thing it wasn't 30 seconds to get ready instead of 10 huh?Nothing too surprising so far... but seems like a decent start.

I know it's crazy!!! He better put a ring on her quick so use to childhood always turning on the MC its so refreshing to see them stick up for the MC for once lolThe childhood friend DOESN'T betray the MC and stick by him to defend him in his betrayal? That's a first. MC, put a ring on her asap.
Most manga authors never seem to.Manga is already to a dumbass start, is nobody talking about how he went up 15 lvls just from defeating that one wyvern??
Not even double XP for a new player would give you THAT much XP
Author clearly has never played an RPG
Excellent analysis 👍Most manga authors never seem to.
The rate of gaining experience, the drop rates, super rare items always being available...
In this case, we're in an impossible situation:
- Either the monster was so much more powerful than the party that gaining 15 levels at once is justified... but not taking it down with such a level difference and a single beginner spell. (He has all elements, but he only used one.)
- Or the monster could be taken down as the level difference wasn't so great and gaining 15 levels at once is not justified.
The answer is obviously:
* The author is inconsistent and wanted an easy but impressive win for a newly awakened MC. The reward shows how impressive it was... but the fight itself was the very opposite of impressive. A totally undeserved one-shot kill.
