I'm pretty sure she wasn't quite as dumb in the early chapters. She's so easily teased or insulted and acts entirely on her reactions to that without stopping to think about what she's actually doing. I usually don't like stupid characters, but this manga makes it work, though. Somehow. She's great.

Yeah she was more naive then stupid. So I kinda don't like how they are making her more retarded as a comedy crutch. Overall though I hope her and Blade get together.

I think it's cause they treat/feel like Blade is like a 5yr old so it's not quite the same. I for one have never understood how while yes Blade was only ever in combat and stuff, it makes no sense he has nothing like libido since it's a basic emotion also it's not like he was a social recluse he had other soldiers and stuff to talk too.
