her tendency comes from DNA aka ID, and at the last battle, her ego and superego protect Kouta.

In the last breath, Kaede brought back Anna's original form, the agent who... apparently was a woman (how the fuck did I miss that) and Bandou too, much to Mayu joy. Shame she didn't brought back Mariko tho'

Kouta went to their meeting place each year, in the mean time married Yuka and had a daughter who they named in respect, Nyu.

Think it's pretty clear that those twins are Kaede and Nyu reborn from her Dissociative Identity Disorder, while only Lucy died back then at the lighthouse.

Looks like Kurama has lied to Kaede about Aiko's death, since her mother was named Yukie Takada. This was his nail to the coffin which he should regret, since Kaede promised him she will kill everyone who he loves. What a dumbass.

It was pretty good story to read, plenty of twists and red flags that came true, which was both disappointing but didn't held back like most stories with plot armor.

Sad ending, but with a silver lining.

10/10 will read again after watching anime.

I wish I didn't read this after so many years of seeing the anime. It's just.... So.... Not good at all. I read it to this point just for not dropping it. I thought it would be better than the anime but it was Worst. It have somethings that were pretty good but a lot of really poorly written bad things that rubs me the wrong way.... So sad 😭

Yeah ja I thought it was just me who thinks this shit is horrible, I mean, I liked the history, but let's be honest, everyone who have an IQ of at least 110 would find this history to be a piece of shit. Inconsistent in everything it proposes and the dialogues are awful too
