Poor Concubine Duan, she is definitely one of the most wise and beautiful ones in the series. Her heart is so full of love even though her life was full of tragedies and was wronged by the Emperor...I’m glad she has a daughter to look after and to keep her company for years to come. :’)

I can see the true villain now. It's the damn emperor. Anyone drawn that badly in a comic filled with so many elegantly drawn females can't be a good person. The Murong girl was a fool who became blind with love. The emperor preyed on that weakness. He can tell himself he did what he did to solidify his rule and keep the peace, but that doesn't absolve him of any sin. However this comic ends, I hope the emperor will die a horrible death. It would be fitting if he were to die under one of his women's feet.

This would make a fine set-up for a rewind time story.
