@Scrabbleman you're contradicting yourself there. If Endo and Kobayashi's personal lives IRL are so important to their impact on the game world, that quality applies moreso to the game characters - who they are, what they're like, what their relationships are, and what their society and world are like determine how they react to each other and the "divine" commentary they receive, so they are more important and should be the main focus. One can't be more important than the other to the story, if you're going with that angle.
But that point also doesn't really apply to what I've been saying. Yes, their personalities have an impact, I didn't say otherwise. But why does that mean the author has to suddenly send them on a date just for Generic Reverse Harem Bishounen to interrupt them? Why does their personalities being important to the advice they give mean that a manga about their impact on the lives of the game characters should have IRL drama that takes time away from showing their impact on the lives of the game characters?
If they're so important and are the main characters, why do we need another guy to butt in to their lives and (as was already spoiled by someone else earlier) become another big influence to the game world and the game characters? Surely that undermines your point about Endo and Kobayashi being super-important main characters, if the author just throws in another guy who is missing from the title?
After all, it is
Endo and Kobayashi's Live Commentary on the Villainess, not
Endo and Kobayashi and Some Other Guy's Everyday Life Including a bit of Gaming Sometimes. The whole point of this manga is that we're supposed to see the two of them play the game while affecting the game's plot with their commentary. If the point of the manga was to see their IRL drama, with occasional scenes of that changing how they give advice to the game characters, then the the manga so far has been a very poor implementation of that idea - the title, synopsis, and all chapters to date have been a complete miss if that's the case!
