This series feels like a gentle post-apocalypse with human-like robots and the remnants of humanity keeping the lights on just like in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou although it doesn't quite feel like humanity has dwindled quite as much in Enjigakari compared to YKK since the trains are still running and there's still television in Enjigakari while YKK only seems to have trams and radio.

It's more along the lines of Tasogare-Boshi no Sui to Neri than YKK, although there's not a talking sloth in YKK or this. There's still trains and radio, but only in certain areas. The further from cities with spaceports you get, the less technology there is. It's a nice slice-of-life set in Earth's declining days. Well worth a read.
