As much as I don't dislike this new arc, weren't we at an EXTREMELY precarious and pivotal point in the main relationship? Now they're just acting like nothing happened and they're an old married couple.

I felt like the previous chapter felt like an 'extra'. One I enjoyed but didn't feel like part of the main story. But this chapter brought that back around and it feels like the main thing again.

It wasn't precarious. Just pivotal. Saki is doing business as usual because nothing changed for her, she's been in love for a while and hiding it for a while. Meanwhile Kanon was worried about it all but I guess she took her teacher's words to heart ('it's ok to take your time figuring out how you feel') enough that she calmed down and can keep being close and friendly.
iirc the two have known each other for over 5 months now (school year starts in April, Summer break ends with end of August). We're not getting everyday, so the next chapter will probably be the next significant event. Oh the recital is coming up, too!

I feel like the tone of this story has slowly moved off course and it's more over-the-top reactions than actual true emotion. The two main characters have a really interesting setup and dynamic to navigate and lately everything has just felt dumbed down.

Was new girl really needed health issues to break ice with Rinne?
Now it looking more and like encyclopedia of disabilities, and I starting to think that author running out of ideas for main couple.

This is all nice and well, but do we need to run the gamut on people who quit playing the piano for a variety or reasons and might or might not end up being Kanon's mums students and return to our main characters please?

I feel kinda mean writing this because the point of the chapter is that even though Rinne kinda got used to her life and doesn't blame anyone she also lost out on a lot of stuff even if she doesn't feel like it and it's a complicated situation because it's no one's fault, but I still want my MC yuri.
Thank god someone’s saying it

Have we entered a filler arc? While it’s cool that we have someone with hyperhydrosis I don’t think it was needed just so Rinne can have her own moment of growing like Kanon did the condition doesn’t change the story in any way

Hmmm yes I like this, I hope these two develop and help each other while also receiving help from others... Primarily the main lesbos... That'd be awesome... Like how the main lesbos got help from others... Wow, peak writing

That sounded satire but I actually mean it
