I've been saying this for a while, the closest thing we've had to proof that Kanon has even heard about gay people is her jokingly saying Saki "might as well come right right out and say you're in love with me" back in chapter 20, which is nowhere near concrete as 'proof.'

As much as I would like to see that , I think given how Saki and Kanon usually behave it will just be "Can we try it with a normal smile instead of the shocked blushing face in every shot?" and both of them will feel self conscious about it.

Which is gonna make Saki panic and she's going to hard deny that there's anything between them. But Kanon might finally clue in to her own situation but keep it to herself because Saki will seem so opposed to the idea. Thus will begin the multi volume arc of Kanon now pining for Saki, but thinking she doesn't have any chance because Saki is seemingly so firmly opposed to the idea of them dating, and Saki pining for Kanon but being to afraid to take the plunge and even come out to her, let alone confess, until eventually some drama happens with the pregnant piano teacher and Saki's secret is revealed. See you folks in 2030, lol.

YES! Like I say, she needs to run into the hairdresser and have her explain that women can love women! But Miss Photographybum Camerafiend (thank you, Fibel and Kamui! 🤣) may also do the job. Just... someone neeeeeeeds to show her! Even just walking down the street and seeing a clearly lesbian couple might get the ball rolling. Maybe Miss Photographybum Camerafiend's monologue can be something about how they remind her of her and her girlfriend? This chapter was exceedingly cute. I love how Saki knows exactly what Kanon needs to succeed at the next challenge but never pushes her or makes her do anything. I love how she reminds Kanon of who she can be and wants to be when she gets all up in her head and then gives her the space to DO THE THING. Saki truly is the prince we all need. I love how they balance each other out when the stakes are high.
