I’m surprised Japan has maternity leave at all but two months seems short even if ur not single versus two months being considered long enough for a baby to be “old enough” To be placed into some daycare/preschool or babysat by someone paid if not a relative

Or even longer for breast feeding unless you can pump every morning or it’s ok to give formula the first few month (if not bringing baby to a school or so, it might be inappropriate but considering so many teachers are female Im
Surprised there wouldn’t be a section if not having it around a sling to psychologically make the students be nicer to you lol)
