He had lost a bit of the weight pre-skip. He just needs to train his body and mind harder, I guess, which is what is happening at the end.

For sure. Just wished if saw him slimming down even more, as for me it was something cool and worth cheering the MC for. Same with how the town opinion changed for him. It was very interesting seeing them go from wary and hated him. And his hard work to do them good slowly change their opinion of him.

Raw sites usually just post the freely available chapters.
The publisher use arrangement where few latest chapters are available early behind paywall.

So either the group pay for the latest chapter, or their raw provider know somewhere posting it.
On a disappointing note, chapter 23 is the last chapter. Even though the LN is still going.

I expected him to have some fighting skills after all he has gone through, but seems like he doesn't. That being said, he acknowledges his powerlessness and is working to change it, so it's okay. It's better he didn't just suddenly becoming an asskicker between chapters, anyway.

I have no idea how a letter can shatter anything, though. Maybe the town was taken away from him or something else majorly changing in his life, but so what? He didn't work to make the town a better place for his own glory, he did it to make himself a better person by doing the right thing and taking responsibility. It doesn't matter where he is, he can keep working to become stronger physically and mentally, even if he was kicked onto the streets penniless.
