Not true. You can have a cool premise and make a good execution, it's just that they ran out ideas after the premise usually. It's all about them being incapable and not the premise being a curse in itself.

I agree with you, I'm not implying that a cool premise is some sort of curse in itself, rather that a premise can act as a crutch that can carry, as put it, an incapable author.

It's overused because it's always the same.

Get's kicked from party > fumble down stairs drunk > Completed super special sss rank legendary quest who required to fell down stairs while drunk by coincidence and unlock the "Harem God" job / turns out he needed only needed one more xp to evolve the "villager" job into "Super sayan sage harem brave" > goes on to form an harem while former party fucking dies because they're a bunch of brainlets.

They're some of them with cool premises, really liked the one where the MC lent skills and when he got kicked he just too them back with interest. It's like isekais some of them have cool premises but usually by chapter 20-30 they become the whole harem forming garbage.

Yeah I have read that MC lent his exp to others.

The premise is good but there's a large hole about that skill that's never or ever adressed yet.

It's not much but not satisfying "turn off brain" enjoyable either.
