Edgar is such a pain... he’s doing all these things behind Duroa’s back without any explanation, how is she supposed to know what he thinks? No wonder she’s deathly afraid of him. He’s never treated her well to her face.

the reason why im aslo cant trust him despite his predicament is the reason why he tried to take over the empire and making OG Duroa do something like that, but somehow there's a line where og alice also close to og Duroa irrc when she drink the memory potion.

This is really good. Although, a bit disorienting storyline but honestly this is what I expected to realistically happen to someone who has been so throughly hurt and abused since he was young and going up as an adult

@mary_here to be honest I think everyone in the comments are ignoring the fact he was as a comment I read said “Thoroughly hurt and abused since he was young and going up as an adult” that comment said the way he’s acting is pretty realistic for that basically. Honestly I can agree with that comment, in fact I’d argue he’s being quite respectful and good despite all that. Currently I have two problems... Firstly Aaron who is avoiding Alice for no reason, it seems the story is trying to justify it but it’s being quite poorly done, not a good enough excuse. Secondly the female lead despite knowing him for a long time and also wanting to believe him and seemingly still cares for him greatly hasn’t sat down and had a proper conversation with him. All these confrontations? Aren’t having a conversation, or trying to clear things up. I’m also disappointed he’s holding information back but he seems more then willing to tell her everything if he could, he loves her so I’m assuming the reason he can’t tell her is because he doesn’t want her to fall apart because of the black magic he assumes has been used on her, considering how little he used it on that Sheryl girl and such a big backlash happened and how much he assumes he used it on Sheryl. He has a good reason, Alice has a good reason but where the fuck is Aarons and why can’t the female lead put two and two together? Every interaction she has with him leaves her clues, and at this point I feel like she’s in denial and refuses to believe it. She wanted to believe him? Hell no, she obviously doesn’t.

This is the moment where I want to UGAJSBSGJSBS like I knew his terrible creepy actions will absolutely be justified by Author with some tragic backstory. I loathe this guy, and even if I knew how this stories will go , I still can't help but understand him with expected but not welcomed excuses. Like you shouldn't let this guy be near even 5 meter to you.
BUT as we can see Durao is letting him in (or even chased him) and now is confessing that she may has feeling for him (not that Im surprised but still)???
Honestly I can't say this story is good or not, since the author can make it convincing but in other hand I don't like what I see😫
