the manga cut out lots of explanations as to why Elrise uses thunder magic and wind magic to revive Vernel
to sum it up, first, she uses healing magic to heal the wound, but healing magic can't re-active the destroyed heart (apparently, in the novel Vernel got his heart destroyed, not donut-human)
second, she uses wind magic to send air to the brain to prevent brain death (manga said she sent it to his lung tho), and one of the funny things is going back to the real world, the game's scenario said that if Erlise's affection point is high enough, you got Elrise mouth-to-mouth Vernal instead of wind magic CG, of course, it's fan service scene, not like Elrise gonna kiss him for real lmao
third, she uses thunder magic to imitate the pacemaker, this is one of the scenes I like in this title because it explains in a scientific way rather than brushing it off with 'it's magic!' which is pretty much the end of it in most title
she will use this technique again in the future at the end of the story to revive Alexia after she is freed from being a witch to fulfill her promise to the former academy headmaster and get praise as the most saint-like person from Alexia lmao
Dude is like that one bro that got killed by the enemy while fighting them and says " he's low, he's low, rush him " and turns out their hp is not low at all
Unfortunately for the rest of the monsters they don't seem to have the capability for understanding self-preservation, and that they needed to skedaddle as soon as Elrise opened the door to the microwave on Lord Ravenbeak.
