Faster loading times for newer uploads

Hi, I'm relatively new on this site, and after using MangaDex for prob a few months I noticed that for most manga I read takes rather long to load. I know its pretty slow since I'm from SEA, but I also noticed that for chapters that were recently uploaded, lets say around 1 month or newer, it seems to load almost instantly, whereas anything before that could take around 10mins or more, and even so not all images might have loaded successfully. Just wanna know is this just me?

I think it's a combination of the quarantine allowing more users to read manga on Mangadex at any given time and the fact that MangaRock stopped being a thing so a lot of their users came to Mangadex. Basically, lots of users all the time are overloading the servers and that results in long load times/failures to load pages.

The CDN for the site doesnt have any servers in the SEA region. thats the main reason. (And god help you if you are in Australia)

The second reason is old chapters arent in cache anymore. so they take longer to load.

The third reason is the average month to month increase of users used to be ~3%. this year its averaging 13% each month.

I'm in Australia and my loading time is perfectly fine for pages, both for old and new chapters.
