(My guess) is because Illya made her decision to go to further in the past, it causes Pandora to remember who she is and open the pithos because illyas sacrifice and since Miyu gained her ability again they fought and won the battle, because the whole world changed because of illyas sacrifice. if illya didn't go to the past then the world would all end in mud Basicly. GOODJOB ILLYA thinking ahead of the game (side note- I swear if you die like you did in the other universes i'm going to be so mad, I just want you to live for once as a good person
