Is there a change in upload policy?
When I tried to upload, I get this message :
"Unable to begin upload
You might not have permission to upload chapters."

I'm new to MangaDex and this error is quite confusing, because I always thought that once I finished translating, I could upload it. If there really is a policy change, MangaDex should clearly announce it to new contributors, because errors like this easily discourage people from contributing.

If you are talking about the reason why OP was blocked that's not something new, using MTL is not the issue using a tool that does all of the steps, translating, cleaning, redrawing and typesetting is, the only thing that you do is uploading the images, and that have been a no since year ago

i recently got banned because i was dumb enough to upload volume extras (like Table of Contents, Author Notes and etc) as Raws 🤦‍♂️
when i pinged mod (used @moderator) someone replied to not ping mods for "such" reasons. so idk what to do

If you haven't seen a response in 24 hours, try DMing either Bart or Grog on the discord and see if they respond. It sometimes takes a bit for them to get freed up during the week.
