So, of course, I made a mistake on my first try by trying to upload a chapter on behalf of a "group" instead of the one that has my name in it. I realized it almost immediately, but I don’t think there’s a way to remove a chapter from approval, so I submitted another one on my own behalf. I know moderation takes about 2–3 days, but I still want to ask: did I get into any trouble because of this mistake?

What do you mean by "uploading on behalf of a group" exactly? Anyone can upload to any group that isn't locked.
You're only getting in trouble if you upload chapters credited incorrectly (e.g. uploading chapters of group a to a group b). Consequently, taking chapters of another group and uploading them under your group will, at...

You're only getting in trouble if you upload chapters credited incorrectly (e.g. uploading chapters of group a to a group b). Consequently, taking chapters of another group and uploading them under your group will, at the very least, get them removed as well.
That being said, you shouldn't blindly trust other folks asking you to upload chapters in their stead if you don't know what you're doing, because they might be from a banned group, officials, stolen from another group, etc...

As for whether your upload was problematic, only a mod can tell you. I'd wait for a few days from when you submitted the chapters, and if neither chapter shows up by then, they got removed (and you possibly sanctioned). You can ask about it in the Discord's support channel then...

There is a rule:
"2.3.1 When uploading a chapter, select all the groups that worked on it. If one of the groups does not exist on the site yet, create it first."
So I created a group, but I named it with random words and sent my translated chapter for moderation on behalf of a newly made group.
However, there is also rule 2.3.2: "If you don't have a group, create a group named after your username and assign the chapter to that group."
I translated and did all the work alone, so I didn’t need to submit it as group work.

My problem was solved, my chapter got approved!
