I disagree with everyone. Hero should just murder everyone on that planet.

Edit: Except for Lanuvel of course.

Maybe prof. Morals finally realised they are arguing from entirely opposite schools of thought. She thinks of the greater good for all, MC thinks of the greater good for himself.

Master Molang? Nasus and his knight? Porter? They were also a benefit to MC so why kill them? The slave traders are also friends of MC.

@cor3zone IMO, it's more like "Get along with everybody (except the demon lord because hero)" vs "Get along with everybody who isn't considered evil"

Afterall, prof. Morals even complained about the events of ch 28 (Alex fight). But consider Alex's status "malice" and him literally saying he would kill MC.

MC is actually trying to make the world better. Though, he's terrifying everybody with his methods which are probably the result from him snapping after the reset.

Yeah, we can agree he didn't act in a way that would earn him recognition but rather made him feared globally.

The problem is that even if he manages to get a perfect reputation he'd still fail because he's expected to be a cliche doormat hero that happily resigns to his fate of being a kidnapped laborer that should waste years helping random people while traveling with people who hate his guts and/or has zero respect for the "hero".

It's impossible to pass that bullshit exam.

@Raikuha Exactly. The test is a "How well do you fit within this mold" rather than "Can you make this world peaceful." MC has fundamentally misunderstood this from the start

Hhahahahahahahahahhahaahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaaaahahaahahahah
Even in a run where he literally did NOTHING morally wrong and have a passing grade for everything, they didn't want to let him pass.
they maybe have deontology on there side but one you will learn they don't think of greater good at all.

My point was that is how she argues, not how she acts. She keeps telling him to care about the wellbeing of others, making that out as 'good'. MC only cares about his own wellbeing, meaning selfish = 'good'. So far, everyone but MC and Lanuvel seem to be fucking hypocrites. Lanuvel seems genuinely 'good', and at least MC knows he's fucked in the head.😂

I'm not even remotely surprised they fail him anyway. Malicious cunts.

If Moral's cared about the greater good for all, she wouldn't be upset over things such as Hero-nim purging the satanic nobility and placing a more righteous man in power.
Hero-nim is enacting the greater good for all while not really caring for it outside of a grade, Moral's is suggesting what's best for a generic fantasy storybook while not really caring for the greater good. You can't have an engaging generic fantasy without entirely avoidable tragedy, tyrants, betrayals, and rampaging demon king armies.

it's like the professor is using a only a general guideline for evaluation, and refuses to acknowledge the unique strengths and traits of Hero-nim

sounds like a certain education system in a certain world.... :^)
