As CDux already wrote: In the LN it was far more juicy. And the betrayl of the queen is even far more "tragic", when you know of the fates of her personal all-female elite guards. (It was hinted, that first one wasn't just sold as a slave in the auction and the second one wasn't just about to be raped by the orc-warlord. Damn, that happy-go-lucky bitch.)
