Chinatsu really does get along well with Hamabe and his mom (who I suspect to be Princess Otohime — if so, Chinatsu's trip to the Dragon Palace certainly went better than Urashima Taro's), and that she's using water spells seems to indicate an affinity there — but she also gets along well with all sorts of paranormal creatures and entities, from the Harbinger of Spring on. I'm starting to think she's not Water type, but the ultra-rare Spirit type.

(I'm kind of hoping I'm wrong, if only because it would kind of seem the obvious move once you have the sisters being Light and Dark.)

@Taper. I don't really think she's Spirit type, I assumed that had more to do with ghosts than other beings like Hamabe, but I could be wrong. I would have thought the girl whose family owns the spirit cafe with the ghost waitress who met the samurai ghost would be spirit type.
