I can understand why the word “selfish“ would give Asaka pause. It’s a word that usually carries a lot of negative connotations. It’s not always a bad thing to be selfish at times, though, just it’s not always good to be selfless. When it comes to romantic relationships, I think it’s okay to be a little more selfish than you would be allowed with a normal friend, just remember it has to go both ways, and there are still some boundaries that should be respected. For example, wanting someone to be just yours, it’s one thing to want to be exclusive, but it’s a whole other thing to demand your partner cut off other people in their life, whether it’s people they might find attractive or even their own family.

Anyways great chapter - I love how cute this series is. Many fluffy romance stories don't really go that into how a relationship develops and grows so I am really appreciating how far this one is going into that kind of stuff!
