I thought the "glass" as the barriers and that one was the one which barrier broke. On another note, I think a Labyrinth of Trials could be the safest item, as the rest look to be all weapons and armor. All depends on the trials and the stakes, seems to be low-stakes and simple trials so far. That Rubik's Cube looks really suspicious. It appears that every magic item in the store is protected by glass displays except for that one. It seems to draw everyone who enters the room to touch it unconsciously.
Another explanation could be that the so-called barrier is actually those glass displays, and the Rubik's Cube may be the most powerful magic item among all those magic items. Perhaps the barrier weakens on a full-moon night to the point where it makes the barrier of said item disappear due to the item's immense power.
Is that series even popular in Japan?Did Hellraiser teach you nothing? Don't mess with magical puzzle boxes
I was hoping for that as well. Seems like it could be interesting.mmm was expecting author to show more of the "subconscious" thing
They have puzzles and riddles, what it lacks is a culture of puzzles and riddles, where they are common- at least amongst nobility and the poorest commoners. What kind of shitty world that doesn't have puzzle and quizzes? Next ya be telling me they don't have poem, song, dance and game as well =_=
