@blood_falcon Reread the damn chapter, they didn't went there to heal a comrade, they went there to set up a trap for in Match for freedom, the doctor was just a bonus.
What part of good will is taking all your food and medical supplies at gun point, and then of top of that order you to abandon your own village because they will burn it down?
That makes no sense, where's the good will in any of that? the only reason the place was gonna become a battlefield is because they were gonna use the village itself as a lure, the fuck are on?
"Oh thank god Mr Wanzer Pilot came took everything from us, the burned the place to the ground, but at least they wont kill us!" Bullshit.
They deserved being shot, you think just because they are a bunch of farmers they are just gonna bow down and take it and lose everything without a fight? this is not their fucking war, they live there!
Hell is not even part of the official war, they are a random mercenary group going undercover without any official recognition from any army busting your life, laughing at your face telling jokes of "We are gonna send the pretty one that wont rape your women and children, hahahah!". And you don't expect them to fucking fight back!?
Let the Wanzer squad be enraged but they earned this and the entire squad should have been shot. Eye for an eye, but they throw the first rock.
@CommieJohnTeh She is their actual squad commander, their official leader is Tamira, she has the authority to order them around and make them follow a different plan that doesn't involves burning down a village for a lure.
As for her motives for changing the plan, her entire background story is allegedly that she has beef with Shin because he engaged in this very kind of conduct, so if she was telling the truth trying to devise an strategy that would minimize or avoid the chances of a massacre taking place is within her interest. But she didn't she allowed this to happen, and of course it did.
