Setting up an ambush by decimating a village in USN territory, just for their satellite to notice them? Damn, this is super dark. No wonder no one wins in this Huffman Second Conflict.

Btw, it seems The Return of Shepherd arc is taking place around the same time when Canyon Crows and Silver Lynxes made their move in the beginning of their respective scenarios.

@CommieJohnTeh

I remember someone complaining in Fruit of Eden arc that it's only USN depicted as genocidal, mass killing ftard.

Well, guess this proven that both side can be genocidal in this Huffman War.

So you are gonna tell me these guys were mind controlled too? the plan involved burning the village just to lure the other supper robot!
Tamira could have prevented this, but she didn't.
Match for freedom is around 2 cm from having her eyes pop out of her skull.

Pray tell and expound on how Tamira could have prevented the slaughter, or why would she even want to.

@Doomroar and @CommieJohnTeh That wanzer squad is already enraged due to sniper ambush killing one of them. Sorry, but if I am in their position, I will also rampage like that. We came there on good will in order to cure a comrade, but they are the one who stab their sword to us, so retaliation is in order.

In war, there will never be a saying "An eye for an eye, and the world goes blind"

@blood_falcon Reread the damn chapter, they didn't went there to heal a comrade, they went there to set up a trap for in Match for freedom, the doctor was just a bonus.
What part of good will is taking all your food and medical supplies at gun point, and then of top of that order you to abandon your own village because they will burn it down?
That makes no sense, where's the good will in any of that? the only reason the place was gonna become a battlefield is because they were gonna use the village itself as a lure, the fuck are on?
"Oh thank god Mr Wanzer Pilot came took everything from us, the burned the place to the ground, but at least they wont kill us!" Bullshit.
They deserved being shot, you think just because they are a bunch of farmers they are just gonna bow down and take it and lose everything without a fight? this is not their fucking war, they live there!

Hell is not even part of the official war, they are a random mercenary group going undercover without any official recognition from any army busting your life, laughing at your face telling jokes of "We are gonna send the pretty one that wont rape your women and children, hahahah!". And you don't expect them to fucking fight back!?

Let the Wanzer squad be enraged but they earned this and the entire squad should have been shot. Eye for an eye, but they throw the first rock.

@CommieJohnTeh She is their actual squad commander, their official leader is Tamira, she has the authority to order them around and make them follow a different plan that doesn't involves burning down a village for a lure.

As for her motives for changing the plan, her entire background story is allegedly that she has beef with Shin because he engaged in this very kind of conduct, so if she was telling the truth trying to devise an strategy that would minimize or avoid the chances of a massacre taking place is within her interest. But she didn't she allowed this to happen, and of course it did.

Alright. let me be clear on several thing first:
What Tsuneki's flock doing before the shooting start is certainly a crime. And after shooting start Tsuneki have a choice to hold rein on his flock, at least to not indiscriminately firing on civilian.

But arguably, the militiamen was the first to throw the rock. They firing on a WAP squad when they certainly didn't have firepower to do that, in presence of non-combatant. "So what, they just should accept to be robbed and not fight back?"
They certainly have option to pick better timing to fight back, when the villagers start clearing out the village.

Everyone involved have an option to prevent this massacre happened. And everyone sadly forgoes that option.

@otakubouzu The militiamen definitively used a wrong strategy to fight back, but how is protecting your village throwing the rock first?
When the villagers start clearing the village the would have started burning the place down, they gave them 30 minutes to leave and threatened to shoot without warning anyone who didn't comply or resisted.

Their best weapons are rifles, and farming tools, you wont take a Wanzer with that, but you can snipe out the pilot if they give you an opening which they did, and granted an even better strategy would have been to shoot Kai while he was out with the doctor, but i guess being the main character worked for him.

@Doomroar bro they literally started the fight WITH THE FUCKEN VILLAGES IN THE CROSSFIRE, they didnt fucken think about their safety they probably were young dumb shits looking for a adrenaline rush rather than protecting their village. The village elder probably didnt even k ow they were doing this.

And while yes the tactic of shooting the mech pilot is best, its definitely better to ha e shot their commander and should have waited till they got backs and would been more vulnerable then.
