Just wanted to point out that, judging from Hikari's fist position, she, unbelievingly, uses what looks more like a Goju-Ryu stance (note the left fist being up to her chest level, while generally it's known to general public as being at a waist's level (Shotokan). Either the author did some actual research in the topic, or they personally know of anyone who's actually studying karate.
Either way, I have to admit that this is the first time in my life I see an actual Goju-Ryu karate stance in manga. Very curious.
Note: actually, there are different positions of the fist in different styles, some in the middle and such, but they're not just as prominent.
