Nah dude, this plot is retarded. What fcking adventurer, his job is PERFECT for a merchant or even guild staff. How can one be so dumb not to see how useful his job is, like every guild should be fighting for him, because he can easily evaluate how dangerous dungeon is with one look, if that isn't busted than I don't know what is.

Eh... this is going to turn into one of those awkward stories where MC constantly gets the shit kicked out of him for being a "perv" even if he didn't do anything. Skip.

This manga almost became Arifureta there, but nah. It's so much easier to have the mc get deus ex machinad than have him do anything himself.

Depends. if there are artifacts which can easily appraise than he has some reason to be down looked at. And if they are common that is.

>walks into a dark tunnel without any gear

What a dumbass, no wonder he thinks appraisal is trash.

@starburst98 umm... and where is he suppose to have gotten this mythical gear you speak of? I didnt see any shops down there, or treasure, or anything else.

@Witson if his job is uncommon, then I don't think that artifacts which can easily appraise aren't rare

Exactly, so he should have done nothing, just sat down and made a real plan instead of walking into a dark hallway. He wanted to leave before he starved, good idea, but how fucking long will you need to walk to find food? He knew he fell down really far, meaning the surface, and thus food, would be days away at the least, meaning staying and leaving had equal chances to starve before you found anything. Also he should reasonably think he will have to fight the hellhound again at the least to go back through the path he already took, what was his plan once he got that far? Hope someone else killed it and he could just walk past it?

Staying put gets him a spring of magical water that may eliminate the need for food, just drink magic water for days while thinking of a plan or trying to figure out a weapon or ask the tree for more help so you can leave.

Bro, I don't even know what you're on about. For all he knew, he was completely alone at the bottom of a dungeon with a giant tree. He had no gear to prepare with, and no access to food (and no, water is not food. He wouldn't have died of thirst, but he would've still starved to death). He wanted to try to find a way out while he still had enough energy to do so. But the second he did he got ambushed by strong monster he literally had no chance of defeating, even if he did prepare whatever gear you think he could've pulled out of his ass. It was lost battle from the start, but he felt trying to find a way out and possibly dying was better than definitely starving to death. What can't you accept about that?

To be fair, how many times have you heard of a boss treating a worker like garbage, when said worker is the only one who knows how to run the business, get's pushed too far, and quits, then 6 months later the business either goes under or has to fire the entire team, boss included?
So yeah, not as unrealistic as it might sound.
