you'd think with all the magic, and bullshit in this manga if he wanted to keep pure souls, and keep them pure he'd use illusion magic to not look like the guy terrorizing the world, or better yet put the pure souls into a state of stasis especially if you have a fucking pocket dimension town...
What's the point of people with pure souls if they don't have freedom of choice or become mere collectibles?
Are you a good person if you are unable to act? Morality is an external construct. It's meaningless without action, or at least awareness.
I'm not convinced the situation with Alex is so cut and dried. The premise seems too basic after all the previous arcs, especially the one with the demon princess Theodora. Speaking of which, Raoul appears to endorse her and her use the army to take revenge on him and the humans? Something is off about this pure soul business. Especially since nobody is perfect, and Raoul, as extreme as he is, is aware of that.
