Right? So we're just back to, so was it really Victoria or someone else's influence. Presumably the idea here is it's this gods influence, but there's always the chance the god was just leading her to where should would get anyway

I don't think we need to accept her later actions as "OK," only that she's no longer the black-and-white character she was 100 and more chapters ago.

People both within the kingdom and beings beyond the mortal world have been attempting to exert control over her life & fate since she was a child; and this god (who has kept secret who they're a god of, only that they are related to the god who governs war) has been influencing her from within for the majority of her life now.

Again, we were explicitly told that GoW would be mixing with Vicky, so the "Vicky" we're seeing now is that mixture.

This is not "true Vicky" who repeatedly rejected vengeance, and only stepped in order to save Raoul's life (and being too young to realize the price).

What we're seeing is a type of possession, where the will of the person gets mixed with the will of the possessor.

By this point, both way works. Redeeming her would be fine, but not doing so would still make sense too.

Yeah, my first theory became true, her initial feelings became corrupted after she made that deal with the god... so now the winged servant knows the truth, he will, of course, tell our MC, but I wonder if this god will intervene again
