I does feel like the series is dragging now though, the earlier villains had some development and personality now it just feels like they're trying to add more random generic evil people to go after. Maybe there's some main god in charge who they'll try blaming for the whole world but meh, can't say I have much interest at this point.

This manga is an isekai and a tensei because he was reincarnated into this world to be it's savior after his death in another world (his original world wasn't mentioned afaik). What he does is not a measure of whether it's an isekai, it's where he was originally from. Even if he goes from fantasy world to another fantasy world, it's still considered isekai.

My point is, the fact he came from another world, until now at least, had zero relevance to the story. It was what, mentioned once, twice and never again?
Everything we saw him do could be explained from the mindset of the world itself. Maybe the Goddess being so sweet on him, but as we saw with the Saintess she could have fallen for him from when his soul was still young, or judging from the flashbacks at any point before he understood the betrayal.
Why make it an Isekai if it has no relevance to the story itself?

Read this far only to realize the manga has exceeded Redo levels of brutality. The new arc is kinda weird and metaphysical, but pretty intriguing since it's less of a gorey eroge and more of an Edgy GOW III.
