I think japan offers cheap/free school lunch only up until junior high - which MC is in , but sister is probably in university (since neko azuki , her 'friend' is also in uni):

you know. This was already a trainwreck, i admit this. but like. I don't think i was aware that his sister was a college student. It must have come up, but with the art i figured they were closer in age.
