Feals like they are putting the plane before the horse butt, jumping from manure to flight. Hell I wonder if we're gonna get to see the results of the fertilizer, or if large scale farms even have irrigation techniques.

With luck the author is going for a "technically flying machine" like the Wright Brothers as a way to spark a wider innovation craze and not just jumping to jumbo jets.

It's definitely post-apocalyptic. But I can't say it's our world since the country from their map looks different. But then again, it's a small map of their country, so it could fit pretty much anywhere in Europe (I assume Europe due to both the shape of the map and the seasons).

However, the ancient civilization used an unfamiliar alphabet, and even included pictograms. So I doubt it.

I could try starting from mangadex's latest release this time, a lot of people might not want to read it if it suddenly picks up from where I personally left off (which was probably lifted from the official publication somewhere)

Toy models definitely come first. Not hard to make fairly decent model that actually flies quite a long distance so long as you either understand the math or can make a crazy number of prototypes. Don’t think it’d be enough to shut people up but it’d definitely memorize them.

best I expect to see is a hot air balloon since we don’t actually have engines yet

So long as they show the insane amount of work it takes to get a functional wing working, I'm OK with this project. The Wright brothers were successful not just because they were geniuses, but also because they put in the perspiration too.

Read it. Good stuff. And yeah, people (myself included) would probably appreciate it if we could get it from chapter 4 onwards. But be careful. If it's already licensed in English, the publishers might not take kindly to you scanlating it, and there's a possibility of legal action being taken against you.
