Indeed, but progress is exponental for reasons indicated in this chapter.

Humans spend most of existance as hunter-gatherers, and it took only 58 years form the first plane, to putting a man in space.

not so far off, if those bricks can actually hold the heat, that means heat treating is an option.
Which mean more robust weapons :win:
I forgot the details

but high heat furnace means they could upgrade from softer iron blades/weaponry to more robust steel blades/weaponry

They still need to find several extra steps to gain steels tough

a none bellows what looks like a ceramic kiln from the 500's would never make firebricks just make a damn firepit and bury it if you can't make a bellows aided kiln....

I love this kind of story. Progress feels amazing.

It’s like looking at Minecraft create mod videos where they add more stuff
