i REALLY don't think i am. it's a small, SMALL minority. there probably are communities for this, BUT they do exist PRECISELY BECAUSE it's not socially accepted in most areas and countries since they are so few in number. if there were enough ppl into this, they could go to the barricades and make their voices heard, get government representation and change up education to make ppl aware early on (let's say in their teenage years) and have them accept these practices - or at least learn to tolerate that some ppl choose to practice them.

I'm not arcosapphire, but am struggling to see where you're coming from here. At least where I'm from the de facto relationship status in the Family Law Act already applies to more than one partner. It just needs to be proven. BFAs can be used to secure and split assets in the event of a break ups. It doesn't make any sense that people need to "get their voices heard". The "you do you" mentality here means that most people don't care as long as it doesn't affect them. The government wrote the laws so that people have the freedom to choose as long as it is outside the institution of marriage (polygamy is illegal but polyamory is not).
if you already have laws taking into account more than one partner, then congrats. and what i'm trying to convey here is simply that if you aren't such a very small minority as i say you are, then you'd see ppl be more open about it (since it would obviously affect way more ppl) and not be restricted to small communities who knows where. it's not that complicated.

No, I don't think you understand how this works. When people are persecuted because of who they are, they tend not to advertise it.
It's not like the number of gay, trans, or poly people has undergone a sudden increase in the past few decades. So why are these groups so much more visible than they used to be? Because finally there was some semblance of safety. Not a ton, mind you, and poly is still not a protected class, so you can (for instance) still be fired from a job for it. You'd be surprised how many people out there are poly. But you don't know--because they haven't told you. Either because they don't feel safe telling people in general because they still have a lot to fear, or they don't want to tell you specifically because they don't feel safe doing so.
I live in a fairly small city (~100K). And just of the people who are poly, and out of those who are who acknowledge it, and out of those who acknowledge it who are willing to admit it, and out of those who admit it who are willing to tell others, there are still at least a thousand (1%). We can extrapolate that if there were no social pressure, many more would be known. So that's a few percent of the population--a far cry from your 0.1%. Surveys have shown the number could even be far higher than what I'm suggesting.
There is no reason to believe that these rates differ significantly across populations, but of course the social pressures to deny it or keep it under wraps certainly do. If you think there are truly so few poly people out there, you might live somewhere that someone like me would not feel comfortable in.

and AGAIN, WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT?? and why bring in other groups of people nobody talked about??? why do you keep dancing around the elephant in the room??? this was strictly about polyamory and nothing else. in fact there are a good number of gay and lesbian people. and because they DO HAVE numbers, they successfully made their voices heard and gay/lesbian marriages have been fully acknowledged with all the tax-, insurance- and whatever other benefits and protections. took until 2017, but hey, it's progress i guess. regarding polyamory on the other hand, there's either no mention or just a short comment saying that laws regarding these practices are basically unexplored/non-existent and there's no precedents - which to me means there's just not enough ppl caring. and yes, i'm aware that it depends on the region and country since the other guy said that you can register multiple partners in the us or something.
and as said as it is to say, even with the new rights gay and lesbian ppl have over here, there's still discrimination and a lack of social acceptance - the same as with polyamory. BUT unlike polyamory gay and lesbian ppl achieved at least part of their goals. so chalking it up to polyamorous ppl not speaking up is ridiculous. they're simply way fewer ppl than gay and lesbian ppl so they don't have as much of an impact and their acceptance will simply take way longer.

This chapter was pretty good but it's always a bit sad when he can't just openly flirt by having both of them cling to his arms in public. They had better dial that flirting up to 11 as soon as they get inside the karaoke room or whatever. If he is just dating two girls at once separately then it's not much different from many love triangle manga.
