Thanks you very much for the chapter, it was very good, I love this author's sense of pacing, he gets so much out of 30 pages without feeling rushed, giving more time to the important times, I feel that some authors too often just maintain the same pace for the entire chapter and then do sudden skips, meaning that every moment no matter how important has the same pace, thus the slow moments feel even slower. It might be an adaptation, but is like when a director is handed a script, the Mangaka can still make or break the story.

I thought the same thing when he went for the ear. I had the same figuring, as there are plenty of reasons to not call her out on it, but it would've been nice if they showed him knowing it was there in some capacity.
