Reminds me of Shimoneta. The guy might not have bad intentions, but just like Nishikinomiya Anna, he might end up doing horrible (maybe even unforgiven) things in the name of Lerunda. And he doesn't seem to listen to anyone but Lerunda, so if he ends up misinterpreting her words or actions, he might cause some serious harm to her or the village.

I also don't think anything serious will happen, but according to some, Roma died in the LN from the attack that the outsiders did on him, so maybe that priest is going to become unhinged.

Lan makes a very good point about fanatics being capable of doing things in Lerunda's name, even if it's something she didn't know or want. A prudent decision to keep him under watch, basically under house arrest. He still needs to earn the trust of people around him, like Lan did before.

Hmm, so Phyto was in a similar position as Alice but without the attitude problem: a normal girl fraudulently being kept as a "holy girl"... or at least until Alice's fraud was exposed. Lerunda becoming friends with Phyto was something I've always wanted to see, a female friend her age would be nice since Gaius already has the male friend role covered.

Would be great if Ilma's yapping would result in a flashback about what happened over on the kingdom's side. I am curious about what happened over there while Lerunda was on her journey.
