Lerunda is slowly becoming your next Maou, she might as well have her 4 generals of different species sooner than later. Not only she already has a couple of species tagging along, but a group of exiled humans too.
I wonder how long would it take if some isekied hero(s) in the future, kidnaped invoked by the human kingdom, was/were sent to put an end to her to notice she's not the evil one... Probably not when faced by the fierce beastmen protecting her domains, nor by the "evil" species, like elves or fairies, much less by the human tribe made from exiles. Maybe, just maybe, when they face the few non exiled humans that are adamant that she's the righteus one (and probably this isekied one manga would have a very long title along the lines of how he met her and they lived happily ever after).

Winged person: "I want to get involved."
Same person: "I don't want to get involved."
So, she doesn't want to get acquainted. She just want to be a stalker.

It was interesting at first, but now it feels, weird...
The miko is obviously too naive, but everyone is going with her flow and not trying to even change her perspecitive.
And what's worse is that evertyhing ends good. Like whatever she decides to do, seems to be the correct thing and it confirms her approach as ok. I guess we can say it beacuse she is the miko, the blessed one, so everything will end good for her, but it still feels weird.

Reading it back, it may look like I am bashing all the stories about overpowered MCs, since it some way it is the same. But I really like them, just in this version it feels weird, hard to define why. It maybe be something to do with the MC's mentality and how they behave. In here she is a naive child which seems to lack some common sense. Well, actually I don't like the stories where the MC is overpowered but thinks of themself as the weakest and/or lacks the bare minimum of common sense, so it may be something with that.

I wish the story would stop adding so many races and people to get into the village.
It's like the story doesn't know what it wants to focus on and now just keeps adding characters to the roster like it's Chrono Cross! Can we move on with the dispute between the runaway tribe and Lerunda's village before we move on to other plots?!

I’m certainly starting to understand why the Miko is treated as such a holy being. Everyone just genuinely wants to worship her. Can’t wait till they realize that the Miko they have in the capital is a fake. Though it feels like that’s gonna be a long ways away since nobody wants to risk angering (God only knows what that would cause)

Normally, I would agree with you about naïve protagonist, but this character seems to have a divine insight check. She can just know when someone is good or evil or a threat to her because I guess God tells her. So she’s not being naïve. She just knows that these violent racist Bird people Are no threat to her and will never harm her

I’m guessing what’s going to happen is different races of people are going to be gravitating towards the forest where each one will leave one person next to lerunda. The remaining people will all make their own little hubs that will eventually all merge into a big town city state and that’s when the not Miko twin will runaway because she’s found out as the fake. And it’ll be a war arc from there

Thank you for the chapter! 28 chapters and it's hard to tell where we are in the story.

Well, they will not harm her, but clearly they aren't "good" people, since they wanted to torture the other humans for information
She never said they were good just that they wouldn’t harm her. Which I will assume means that they also won’t kidnap her because they want her happy.

It depends on how this works.

If this only tell her who is "aligned" with her, hence not a danger to her, this doesn't help much. The person could still be a danger to her little community even if they don't mean harm to her individually.
Relying on this sense is still terribly naive in such a case.

On the other hand, if it tells her who she can actively rely on, who will benefit her and her people, then this insight is really helpful. If that tells her who are actually good people despite their habit of, say, bashing nearly to death an innocent bystander who's trying to keep her safe... then great. Strange, but great.

Problem is that she doesn't seem to know the difference yet. She might have some divine insight, but not true wisdom.

Great. More peeps for the Lerunda Fan Club. Btw her girl friends are already savages - referring to those who try to get close to Lerunda as insects. :dogkek:

I assume it’s gods way of keeping her safe So it should be a pretty accurate measure of potential dangers. Even attacks on her community should hopefully be considered an attack on her support network so it’s an attack on her.

plus, she’s clearly got a supernatural charm ability that just makes everyone love her immediately (not sure why it didn’t work on her parents) so most people should naturally want to help her and make her happy.

That's where I disagree.

The charm effect seems to work only on beings aligned with the god she's "representing". The griffins, the winged people, spirits... The humans and elves definitely aren't affected. The only two humans who seem to be, to some extent, are simply expressing their personal feelings instead of being affected by the miko's "charm". As for the elves, they tolerated her to some extent because of their link with the spirits. And they were about to sacrifice her whole community to the spirit-eater. Even the beastmen only accepted her initially because of her familiarity with the griffin family, not the miko's charm.

At this stage, the charm and insight effects seem limited to her own person and a few specific species. So, she's naive if she thinks she can rely on them blindly. They can be a good indicator for an initial approach, but they definitely aren't reliable as the only basis for her decisions.
