oh no, this is a tough one.

The correct move is very difficult to see for all but Grandmaster level romcom-ers, but you gotta show you remember what you said combined with lowering any expectation that this particular restaurant will be the one. Something like "btw, I remember what I said, and there are endless choices of nice restaurants in the world, just saying."
