In most romcoms, even if there were a different bus running every 15 seconds, the odds you would both get on the same bus at different stops is 100%. But this is better than 99% of other romcoms, so we're letting it cook...

I really wonder how true to life that is. Considering how many tropes are recycled in manga, I think it's just a way for the male lead to look manly. Same thing about them taking care of the girl when she gets sick.
