Why is he hesitating so much? Surely it's a digital camera already. Taking photos costs nothing. He will never be a decent photographer with a mentality like that. Especially when trying to photograph animals and other dynamic natural phenomena, it's essential to quickly take a bunch of pictures because often the chance is fleeting and it's easy to fail. When you are in a studio, or other such controlled place, you have all the time in world to get things perfect, but that's not the case out there.
