This was a short, and heartwarming story for the ages. It may not be the longest, nor the most drawn out. However, this is a short, and very beautiful story that I implore anyone interested to read. Bravo!!!

Stories like this always get ruined for me when the significantly older person also falls in love with a middle schooler/elementary schooler. If it was left as a I love you like family story I would have given this a 9/10 but with the way it ended I give it a 3/10.
He has clear abandonment issues and became attached to her because she experienced the same thing as he did. He needs to go to counseling to talk and not be codependent on a 15yr old who only knows him and her mother. It's a toxic type of relationship that was sugar coated with shoujo fluff.
Also what happened to him being a "relative"? So we just out here marrying our family members as if there aren't millions of other people in the country of Japan?

I don’t mind if they fall in love, but I want the author to do a good job of showing how/why they got there. This is more like gratitude and dependence because they both came from bad backgrounds and have abandonment issues. I pm not even sure how she became friends with her classmate (I could have sworn they were going to be rivals or something). Wakaba is the kind of weak character that I can’t really care about. I also think it’s a bit rash to let her suddenly live with the mother that vanished on her- maybe start slow with weekend visits or vacations? How can she trust her?

Also... series like this are always going on about so-and-so being a relative. I want to know HOW they’re related.

the love that they have for each other is obviously not appropriate but I would say when she is an actual adult then them falling in love won't be as big of a deal. But I dont think them falling in love is really necessary either for this story

And he going to live with her mom was so quick but I like it because I don't think they should live together at the ages they are while having the feelings they have for each other

Well, due to being relatively short i guess it cant be helped, but would be more interesting to at least have some more to develop his side of the romance. He did react hard when she 1st confessed, but thats about it before he went all out promising a forever happy life. Of course his affection was always clear, but not in a romantic way.
I wont debate right or wrong since was evident from the very start what this story was about and how would probably go. I just think that a more moderate gap could relieve some unnecessary stress for some people so they could properly enjoy a interesting and wholesome story. Nonetheless, they didnt do anything to ashamed of in any way.
I really liked the characters and how the progression went for the most part. The end was properly conclusive plus the extra. Chill and warm lil read.
