He talks about only bringing the necessities, but lugs around random meme equipment. Says he wants to camp in solitude, but goes to public camping sites.

Oh, drinking beer on a hot day right after physically exerting yourself, in a place away from people, in the mountains. Great advice, if you want to put yourself at risk of heatstroke and dehydration in a place where no one is around to help.

Some people just call camping going out drinking beer and maybe grill some beef.

Others might go for a more "extreme/natural" experience.

I get it. The Author tryna make it deep with the 'Solo' camping, a lone wolf who meets a girl who 'changes' his life. It's pretty lame when it feels the writing is trying too hard.

She wants everything done for her.
I get you want to camp with him but at least hold your own weight so he can acknowledge you. Well I admit MC kinda indecisive as well. If he doesn't like it he can easily back out
