A little confused as to why everyone is like "ah boo. she sucks." They just need to figure out that liking girls isn't a bad thing. Lotta people in the closet are like this and that's normal. Just need to figure out how to love themselves.
Also she looks good with short hair
not to mention it's japan, yuri manga aside (which is prolly still a niche/animanga otaku culture also being not as mainstream, it's not like there's any legality with rights/marriage), even if ppl didn't notice anything subtle like some pride flag wristband or so (tho i imagine any kinda accessory/jewelry wouldn't be allowed in a uniformed school), ppl wouldn't be openly like "I'm a lesbian" or so
Even if they went to an all girls school (or hard to tell who's 'serious' if ppl are 'fawning' over the 'handsome' girls/tomboys versus actually being gay/bi [did see some k-drama where a chara had a line like "I got love letters from girls when I was a teen too, but they all ended up married to men"]). or it'd be a 'phase' for them.
Well, nothing wrong with experimenting/a phase when you're younger/questioning tho hopefully you'd communicate that to ur current partner even tho teens are kinda bad at that but i do vaguely remember some anecdotes where ppl say it's apparently common? in some schools like that to do so 'for fun'/get it outta their system, so to speak before settling down and start a family, i guess the equivalent of "experimenting in college" or so but there is a yuri tag still so unless it ends up with a tragedy tag in the end i assume one couple is gonna happen even if a breakup happens.
I imagine the cliche "childhood friend comforting heartbroken one" as the cliche and temporarily dating and then like after a few weeks of dating like "oh you don't really love me the same way" or so although poly route isn't impossible but i imagine rare/i feel like i only read one yuri where it ended in a throuple versus one person 'winning'
