The worst luck I've seen in gacha games was 1.2% drop rate for 3 specific new characters, so 0.4% if you wanted a specific one and some guy had to roll like 1300 times to get his target, spending thousands on Euro in the process. He lost the 1/3 roll 17 times before getting his target, which is only made worseby the fact that for the first 500 rolls, you got a confirmed drop of those characters every 50 rolls.

So I can safely say that rolling 100 times at a 2% chance is close to the same as not getting any URs at all. MC would need many times more to get close to a "guarantee" for a UR drop.

Gacha games are bullshit. Desire detectors are real and life is harsh. Don't pay to roll, it never works out. Let that guy be a lesson for all of you gacha players.

what's stopping him from rolling a new unit during the event?
more unit means efficient grind, and it's not like he has any other use for that magic stone anyway.

@shyevsa, oh so those games has it. Never played both. Tho considering the jokes and memes about grind-abuse in Kancolle fandom, i think that what it has is not exactly the kind of Boredom/Fatigue system i wished for. Basically i wanna see a game that actually forces you to change your party's composition and load-out after some farming repeats.

@Haremmony That would be Dungeon & Fighter/Dungeon Fighter Online, each character you create has it's own fatigue bar and the game itself encourages making alts. The fatigue bar is annoying at lower levels, but as you inch closer to level cap, it increases and can get more difficult to grind out an entire fatigue bar at level cap.

So using binomial distribution, if chance of success is 2% and you try 100 times, you actually have a 87% chance of getting 1 or more URs and a 60% chance of getting 2 or more UR

TBH in kancolle the morale isn't a big issue unless you fail at your first or second battle of the map.
On the other hand if you get the morale high before a sortie you get higher accuracy and evasions stats for your girls.
Kancolle grindfest is more about farming a specific drop in an event, failing over and over again the same boss for the clear, and building your ressources and leveling in between event.

well, as long as his gacha ain't using RNG method he's bound get the Unit.
but the thing is that every unit he pulls, his change to get another gets smaller.
because I think there as just 50 of the girls said in ch1.
then there's the UR items...
