That is what I'm saying - what they call as "global warming" is different from what actually is the cause. They should have called it "tree depopulation" or "man-made disaster" rather than the term we know right now. This is why you should seriously question your teacher, even if the teacher is a machine. You cannot learn how to think otherwise.
"Global Warming" is an ACCURATE term. The AVERAGE global temperature is indeed rising. But it rise unevenly. And of course, Earth isn't a homogeneous sphere, it has land, water, the sea, variable terrain, ocean current, etc. The last thing is particularly important. In Geography, we learn that ocean current is of particular important to global and regional climate. For example, the reason why Africa, while being literally in the zone of tropical climate, is literally surrounded by seas, have a generally dry climate, is because of the fact that the ocean currents surrounding Africa are cold ones, and the terrain of Africa with high elevation making it hard for clouds to form inland.

Now, we have the average global temperature rising, which in turn heat up oceans currents, which in turn heat up the poles, whose ice melt into the ocean, decreasing the salinity of the surrounding area and the oceans currents that originate from the poles, which in turn mess with other ocean currents in never before seen ways, affecting global and regional climate, creating more extreme weather conditions.

Ultimately, I believe the most misleading thing about "gobal warming" or "climate change" education is the fact that we are told to "save the earth", "protect nature". The earth doesn't need saving, nature doesn't need our protection. If human one day get eradicated by climate change, all it takes is several thousand years for nature to get back on its course. All we are trying to do is to protect humanity future, yet we often fail to actually put this point across to the majority of people, so they see stopping climate change as something that doesn't concern them.

Anyone else feel like the writing is getting worse?
They said watchman series like six times and just repeated how strong it was. It vaguely showed us what they could do, but idk this build up isn't great.

Well, yeah. But apparently is selling relatively well in Japan.

True, the numbers are pretty good, more so when you compare with some of those in the list, there are some here that are household names and this is getting around half to a good third of their numbers.

With numbers like this, I am more calm, thanks a lot for putting this here, I really want to see this tell its full story.

I think the author is ending it.

Where are the new chapters? The scanlation group has up to 71 on their website, but here we're only at 66. What's the deal?

There was a mistranslation in the last chapter.

The Vandal's leader didn't make the "Watchman Series", what he actually said was that he tried to make it (as in, trying to make more parts) but couldn't no matter what he tried, and that the actual creator must have had a really strong "thought". He was only able make imitations like the pendant he showed this chapter, that's why he is using the real thing for his experiment. He is probably just a "mini boss".

Right now there are still A LOT of plot points missing. There are other parts of the set to find. We don't know who created them, when exactly, how or why. We don't know why were the gloves in Heaven, and in Regto's hands. We don't know who killed Regto, and why. We barely know anything about Rudo's parents and his scars. We barely know anything about Riyo's past as a hitman and her parents. We barely know anything about Engine or Arkha Corvus (the leader of the Janitors). We don't know a lot about Heaven, or what made the world as it is. And those are just some things that I remembered right now. It is too early to expect an "end game".
Wow, thank you for existing, Zelfic. My mind was nearly broken from thinking due to this chapter and that one mistranslation together xD With that, I can now analyse the shit out of this chapter!

Now, with new context and clarification, let us delve into this beast of a chapter:

1. Zodyl is NOT the creator, he only tries to recreate what this creator did. He failed time and time again to do so, his will/emotions/conviction probably wasn't strong enough to make something this powerful. IMO though, it was NOT powerful to begin with. It became powerful with time and with new wielders of those items adding on to their power.

Like, thing about it - if we now have 2 people in one generation capable of coping with Watchem Series' power, we must've had way more before them and even have more of such people currently, just not found yet.

2. I wonder what Zodyl realls means by "recreating" the Watchman Series though. Like, how does he measure it? Only by power? Other than that, how could he know, if it's a success? Even his faux Watchman Series made an "egg", it's power merging into beasts and stuff. Did he know it could or was this an accident?

3. I think there might be some mistranslations here as well and it sucks, because I think it's a great dialogue, but let me cook. Soooo... does Zodyl pretty much means that having your needs fulfilled slowly makes you go insane? Like, not needing anything anymore equals having no goal, no purpose, a feeling of having already achieving everything? If that's the case, what's different with him and Rudo? I don't take Amo into the equation, because she really was insane, thus it's hard to see if the boots made her any worse or not.

4. Zodyl implies here that all 3 of them had some important parts missing and that maybe their items covered them up. In a way, he seems a bit sympathetic to Rudo, when he lower his gaze for a moment. I wonder if he has doubts as well about this whole ordeal. He will still move forward and trample on his enemies though.

5. Actually, we did see in Amo's backstory that her boots really DID cover the missing parts, like the Angel intended. What we also saw though... is how it doesn't fill the hole in. There's a missing part in the road, but you just put a wooden board on it to walk through. I wonder if we can see it addressed for both Rudo AND Zodyl. And Amo too, because as I've said, she's alive. If she can recover and get better, then those 2 could as well.

6. It'd seem like Zodyl knows more about the barrier than nearly anybody else. He's got to, if he thinks for any reason that this big beast can go through it. So maybe it's a literal barrier or something defensive/military in nature?

7. Now that's a good question - how did those gloves get to Regto? Was the creator originally from Heavens? Having a Jinki should apparently not be anything unusual in Heavens, if we are to believe Zodyl, so it's a possibility. Personally though and to make the story even more complicated, I think the creator IS in the Pit instead. Maybe an angel came, took the gloves and flew to Heavens to prepare it for a new wielder? After all, we saw how they took the boots from Amo's abuser to give them to Amo instead.

8. IF Angels really just go around, amassing all the info about the Watchman Series, taking and delivering the items of this set to people most suited to wield them, they might have a direct connection with the Creator. "Might" because that person could've just created the set, died and THEN The Angels (or whoever controlls them) could decide to do whatever they do. Now that's really interesting!
