"Falsetto" is what I would fully endorse, too.
Technically, falsetto is an Italian word, used commonly in English since (to directly answer your question) there is no single word that defines capability of singing both male & female ranges. However, falsetto, defined in English as "head voice," is widely known in the musical community as a person's ability to increase tension in their vocal chords which results in a full octave (or more!) higher pitch in tone. Both men and women are capable of this, but the contrast is more drastic among men and is regarded as highly effeminate but also remarkably fun.

Falsetto is a specific singing technique where you sing notes outside of your normal vocal range. A soprano is a type of vocal range (the highest one), and typically it's only women who are sopranos as adults (boys can also commonly be sopranos before their voice changes in puberty). There are rare cases of adult male sopranos as well. It's a bit unclear whether Otaku-kun is a rare male soprano or if his voice hasn't changed yet. So a male soprano would be a man singing very high notes within their normal vocal range, whereas singing falsetto would be singing those same notes outside of the singer's normal range, which somewhat changes the quality of the voice (making it more "breathy", "flute-like" and relatively free of overtones).
