in the WN their falling for each other story is basically a single summer vacation so the time frame for them to be together is quite short , but he does have to work through some trauma before that so it takes a bit of time, but I believe there's no stalling at all just 2 people slowly getting together.

This message is for readers who may not know who Philia Scans are. I initially considered placing this at the end of the chapter, but felt it would disrupt the mood, so I decided to post it in the comments instead.

Philia Scans are widely regarded as one of the worst scanlation groups. They were banned from MangaDex in 2024 for stealing chapters from other scanlation groups, adding their own credit pages, and even paywalling those stolen chapters on their official website.

The reason I’m addressing this now is because one of their members recently contacted me and behaved very rudely—despite the fact that they have shown no respect for other groups or the community in the first place.

This message is mainly for new readers who may not be aware of their history or practices.

Philia is a lot faster than most especially if you read on their site. But I'm pretty sure they MTL just like every other scans including this (either getting ripped off from TL's who do nutjobs or them scans got no money)

Lmao because I found out about this series from them.

Oh is that what they're doing? Unfortunately they're the only ones translating "Isekai de Haishin Katsudou wo Shitara Tairyou no Yandere Shinja wo Umidashite Shimatta Ken" at the moment. I will continue to read their stuff until someone else starts translating the series I read.

Even more unfortunately, they only upload on Bato.to now, but Bato is fricking down recently, and some of the images in Bato are broken and still not fixed two weeks later.

Just read from their official site but honestly such a shame, I think almost all small manga and "small" scan groups use MTL it's either really good or insanely horrendous. philia also picked up some series Kawaii scans are doing we can do a comparison to see which one's worse I think it was "Such is being fourteen"? (dunno why in kawaii scans it says just like that, 14 years old) kawaii only has 2 chapters atm philia has 6 but chapters 5 & 6 are paywalled 😔
Update : I can't compare because for some reason the chapters are broken for me in kawaiscans.site cut off for some reason

This is very spoliery

She was very sick as a child and spent most of her time in the hospital. Her school arranged visits so her classmates could come by and cheer her up.

During one of those visits, the MC, who is the son of a woodworker and a woodworker himself, asked what she wanted him to make for her. She asked for a figurine of a character she liked, which is not something easy to do.But he kept asking her questions about the character, worked hard, and eventually managed to make it. She loved it, kept it ever since, and used it as a source of strength, something to hold onto while she tried to stay sane through all those hospital stays.


Damn this all making me wanna go re-read it. need to find that epub I made with all the chapters or have to remake it which is not fun.

A lot of people have noted the similarity to My Dress Up Darling, but I think this series hasn't set up the characters as well. MDUD started with a flashback in a dream, we got to see what makes Gojo tick. This starts with establishing his hobby and tells us he's an anxious introvert, but doesn't show us how he got there. One of the reasons MDUD worked so well is the depth of character development. Hopefully this series gives us a little more.

Bike nerd time! The chain falling off was explained in a realistic way, and that bit of detail is nice to see. There's two main ways a chain falls off the chainring- either the front derailleur limits are misadjusted so it can't act as a guide to keep the chain on, or the chain is worn/stretched enough to create slack. MC mentions the chain is worn, so reason two it is. This is a temporary fix- that chain needs to be replaced pronto, because a stretched chain will start to wear down the teeth on the cassette, and it's likely to fall off again the next time it takes a bump. It's only hanging on because the rear derailleur acts as a tensioner and roads are mostly smooth. Get thee to a bike shop!

I'm not actually an introvert myself (rather the opposite), but from what I know, the portrayal of the MC as introvert is quite realistic. And the girl seems to be a bit clumsy and airheaded, but otherwise fun and silly, I like it.
